Plymouth Motor Speedway 2022 Asphalt Schedule

The Plymouth Motor Speedway has released the racing schedule for the 2022 racing season!

You may notice that there are four (4) races identified as Race #1 – #4.

The Saturday Shows are scheduled:

Race #1 Saturday June 4th – Outlaw Late Models / Street Stocks / Hornets
Race #2 Saturday July 2nd – Outlaw Late Models / Sportsman / Front Wheel Drives / TBA
Race #3 Saturday July 30th – Outlaw Late Models / FWD / Hornets
Race #4 Saturday September 3rd – Outlaw Late Models / Sportsman / Street Stocks and Hornets

The idea behind the progressive pay is to give drivers a bigger incentive to run all the scheduled shows. Drivers who run all the scheduled shows will be rewarded with increased prize money for each show they run.

For the Outlaw Late Models:

On night one (1) for your class you will be racing for the ‘Race #1’ payoff. If you race the first night and return the second night for ‘Race #2’ you will earn the increased payoff listed under ‘Race #2’. If ‘Race #2’ is your first night then you would be racing for ‘Race #1’ pay. Again on ‘Race #3’, if you have raced the previous 2 races you would be racing for ‘Race #3’ pay. If this is only your second race then you would be racing for ‘Race #2’ pay and if it’s your first race you would be racing for ‘Race #1’ pay off. On ‘Race #4’ if you have raced the previous three events you would be on ‘Race # 4’ payoff. If you have raced #1, #2, or #3 previous events then you would be paid under that race night pay off. The idea to heavily reward drivers who support the 4 race program and to still make it well worth while for drivers who have to miss a show.

Simply put, the more you race the higher the payoff. If you have competed in all three events prior, you will be competing for $20,000 to win Race #4.
